Open Letter to our Company

This is for all of you have taken the initiative this summer to be a better version of the dancer you were a year ago. We are so proud of you and so is every teacher that worked with you over the past two months.

It was so exciting to see you have the opportunity to work with and study from not only our faculty but all the incredible talent that has come to MADS this summer. We're also excited that your family sees that something special in you and knows that it's important to take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. We are fortunate in the fact that these artists are so willing and anxious to come to you instead of the other way around. That makes what we have even that much more incredilbe.

We especially loved seeing you all with our guests last week. It was a proud moment for us. Just know we are on your side and cheering for you! And you have the wonderful guests, the teachers we know that will take you to the next level, cheering just as hard. They all think you're so talented and so full of potential. They notice the artistic side of you and the fact that you have a certain quality of movement. It's nice for you to hear that said by someone other than us. They see something special in the MADS girls and we hope it continues for all of you. We are really excited for our company this year and can't wait to start the new season.

All we can ask is that you want it for yourself as much as we want it for you. That is something only you have the power to control. Passion and desire come from within and can't be taught. You have to be hungrier and more committed than you have ever been. Dance is an art form that constantly changes, gets more challenging and requires a lot from you. It means giving up things you may wish you could do, spending hours at the studio, pushing your limits and using your summer's to reach out for extra opportunities offered here and elsewhere. We know in the end you will say you're so happy you did. Even if you don't plan on a career as a dancer, you will have the work ethic, discipline, social skills, confidence and drive that any college or employer will value.

From a personal note I am so blessed that our faculty is so caring and willing to do whatever it takes to make you the best you can be. I am in awe of their talent, artistty and ability to choreograph routines that appeal to audiences and judges everywhere we compete and perform. I know I say it constantly but I am so grateful to AJ, Ali, Julie, Angel, Denise, Susan and Mr Bill for shairng their love of dance with us this summer and all year. I love you all!

  See you soon!
