![]() Julie LaMancuso has been dancing since the age of 3. She began Assistant Teaching at the age of 12 and has had a passion for teaching dance ever since. During high School, Julie was the choreographer and treasurer of the Williamsville District Dance Ensemble. This May, she will graduate from The University at Buffalo with a degree in Dance. Her work has been featured in productions such as Dancer's Workshop and Emerging Choreographers Showcase at the university. One of her latest pieces was chosen by UB Dance Faculty to be presented at the American College Dance Festival this spring. She is currently serving as Assistant to the Director of Zodiaque Dance Company, UB Dance's resident company. This summer Julie was named America's Young Choreographer of the Year at the American Dance Awards Nationals in Boston, MA. Her contemporary and hip hop routines have won numerous overall high-score and choreography awards at both regional and national competitions. MADS is honored to have Julie on faculty and we know you will love working with her!
